The free tier is enough to start studying:
- unlimited decks, cards and folder structure
- all imports: Anki packages, CSV files and Swiftflip archives
- all exports for portable backups
- spaced-repetition practice including Practice All
- the system “Due for Practice” smart deck
- Spotlight search, the Share Extension and basic Insights
- Apple Watch practice
- Siri and App Shortcuts
Premium builds on this foundation rather than replacing it.
What Premium adds
Premium unlocks five paid features:
- Smart Decks: build your own dynamic decks with custom rules
- Folders: organize decks into nested folders with custom icons and colors
- Custom icons: pick any emoji or custom icon for decks and folders
- Full Insights: mastery flows, 90-day streak heatmap, per-deck table and draggable card reordering
- AI generation: generate flashcards from a topic with Apple Intelligence
Three ways to buy
Premium is available three ways through the App Store:
- Monthly: recurring monthly subscription
- Yearly: recurring yearly subscription
- Lifetime: one-time purchase, no recurring payments
Each option covers iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch on the same Apple ID. Open Swiftflip and go to Settings to see current prices in your local currency.
Manage your subscription
Subscriptions are billed by the App Store. Manage or cancel from:
- Swiftflip, Settings, Manage Subscription on iPhone, iPad or Mac
- the App Store account screen on any of your Apple devices
If a subscription ends you do not lose any data. Decks, cards, folders, history and progress stay. Smart Decks, Folders, custom icons, AI generation and full Insights resume the moment you resubscribe.
Restore purchases
If you reinstall Swiftflip or sign in on a new device, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you are signed in to the same Apple ID, your Premium status comes back automatically.
