Common Brevier questions.

Which books can Brevier open?

DRM-free EPUB and plain-text files. Books protected by DRM, such as most ebook store purchases, cannot be opened.

What does Brevier Premium add?

Explain. Ask about a passage, page, chapter or the whole book, ask follow-up questions and use Catch Up to recap the story so far. Premium is USD 4.99 a month or USD 39.99 a year in the US, and the yearly plan starts with a one-week free trial.

What does Explain send?

Nothing until you agree the first time. Then it sends your question, the passage or page, related text from the book and nearby highlights and notes through our server to an AI service. The privacy policy lists everything Explain sends and keeps.

Do I need an account?

No. Brevier has no account, ads or tracking. Your library syncs through your own iCloud, and Premium uses your Apple Account.

Which devices does Brevier run on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 27 or later, and Mac with macOS 27 or later.
