Restore deleted decks and cards

Find Recently Deleted, restore a deck, card, folder or Smart Deck within 30 days and permanently remove anything you no longer need.

Deleting in Swiftflip is reversible. Decks, cards, folders and Smart Decks go to Recently Deleted first, where they wait before they are gone for good. This guide shows how to get something back and how to clear things out on purpose.

Recovering a deleted deck within the 30-day window.

Where Recently Deleted lives

  • iPhone: tap the more button on the main screen, then Recently Deleted.
  • iPad and Mac: open Recently Deleted from the sidebar.

Inside, items are grouped into folders, decks, Smart Decks and cards. You can search by name if the list is long.

How long you have

Deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, then they are removed permanently. Each item shows how many days it has left, so there is no guesswork.

Restore an item

Swipe an item or use its menu and choose Restore. It returns to where it was. Restoring a folder or a deck also brings back the cards inside it, so you do not have to rebuild anything by hand.

Remove something for good

To clear space sooner, choose Delete Now on an item. Swiftflip asks you to confirm, because this cannot be undone. There is no restore after that.

For anything older than 30 days

Recently Deleted is a safety net for recent mistakes, not a long-term archive. For real protection, keep a backup. A Swiftflip Archive holds your whole library and can restore decks long after the 30-day window has passed.

Recently Deleted is available on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
