Choose how answers appear
Preview answer reveal styles in Settings, compare motion options and switch to None when you want no animation.
Mac support is in development.
Available now: Version 1.15 includes the redesigned picker and Ink style on iPhone and iPad. The native Mac picker is still in development.
Answer reveal styles control how card content appears after a flip. Swiftflip 1.15 puts the choices on one screen with a sample card that replays each style before you return to practice.
The sample card replays the selected reveal.
Open Reveal Animation
On iPhone or iPad, open Settings and find the Practice section. Select Reveal Animation to open the picker.
Choose a style and watch the sample card at the top. The preview starts again each time you make an unlocked selection.
Free styles
Scribble reveals the answer as if it is being written. None displays the answer without a reveal animation. Both remain available without Premium.
None is also a useful choice when you prefer less movement. The system Reduce Motion setting continues to limit motion throughout Swiftflip.
Premium styles
Swiftflip Premium adds Fade, Shimmer, Spotlight, Ripple, Ink and Random. Random chooses from the animated styles for each reveal.
Ink is new in version 1.15. It spreads the answer across the card with an ink-like mask. The preview lets you compare it with the other choices before starting a session.
Change the animation speed
Return to the Practice section in Settings to adjust Animation Speed. This changes the pace of the selected reveal without changing the style itself.
Your selection applies to later practice sessions. It does not change card content, scheduling or grades.
Choose a style on Mac
In the current Mac development build, open Swiftflip Settings, select Practice and use the Reveal Animation picker. The Mac picker uses native settings controls and does not show the live sample card from iPhone and iPad.
The selected style and speed affect Mac practice in the same way. Mac support is still in development and is not part of version 1.15.0.
