Type, copy and paste

Open the keyboard in a session, copy text from the Mac and paste text to it.

The session toolbar has Keyboard, Copy from Mac and Paste to Mac. Hardware keys also go through to the Mac.

Paste to Mac uses the text currently on this device.

Type

Tap Keyboard to open the software keyboard. What you type goes to the Mac. A hardware keyboard does the same without that control.

Copy from Mac

  1. Select the text on the Mac.
  2. Tap Copy from Mac.
  3. The text is now on this device, ready to paste in other apps.

If the Mac did not send text, select it again and try Copy from Mac once more.

Paste to Mac

  1. Copy text on this device.
  2. Tap where it should go on the Mac.
  3. Tap Paste to Mac.

Otherdesk pastes text. It does not send files or images through the clipboard.
