Block habitual Safari homepage visits on Mac while articles, videos and shared links still open.

Hold That Tab 1.0 is now available on the Mac App Store for macOS 15 or later.

Add a domain to block its homepage in Safari. Links to specific articles, videos and other pages still open. Turn a domain off without deleting it from your list.

Your list across your Macs

The blocklist syncs through your iCloud account. We cannot see it. No account or tracking is required.

Enable it in Safari

Open Hold That Tab and use Open Safari Settings. Enable Hold That Tab Blocker for each Safari profile you use.
