Feedback in the app and steadier sessions.

Send feedback from a form in Settings, with an optional email address for a reply, instead of writing in Mail.
A session no longer drops with an invalid compressed screen data error when a screen update arrives just as Automatic quality changes the color depth.
If the Mac's screen can't be read, Otherdesk retries once without naming the error and shows the reason only if it keeps happening.
A password saved again while signed out of iCloud stays on the device and moves to iCloud Keychain on signing in, instead of being lost.
Otherdesk asks for a rating with Apple's prompt at most once per version, after the third session you end with Disconnect.

An icon for each Mac and a welcome for new installs.

Give each Mac an icon, a symbol in a color or an emoji, from the Icon row when you edit it. The Macs list shows it and it syncs with iCloud.
With Apple Intelligence on, the icon picker suggests icons that fit the Mac's name.
New installations open with a short welcome that says where to turn on Screen Sharing. Anyone updating sees What's New instead.

An arranged toolbar, pinching anywhere and quicker reconnects.

Choose and order the session toolbar's buttons in Settings, under Controls, Toolbar. Quality is back on the toolbar, its dial showing the level in use.
Copy and Paste use the familiar copy and paste symbols and answer with a checkmark when done.
Pinch, move the pointer and scroll from anywhere around the Mac's screen, not only over it.
Sessions reconnect within seconds of the Mac answering again, and right away when you return to the app. The Reconnecting screen names the Mac.
The toolbar settles smoothly as the keyboard hides.

One session toolbar, one-tap Paste and a sharper pointer.

Disconnect, Zoom, Keyboard, Copy and Paste sit on the session toolbar on every device. Quality has moved to Settings.
Paste text on the Mac in one tap. Copy and Paste are labeled with words and show Copied or Pasted when done.
The pointer stays a sharp arrow instead of a blurred copy of the Mac's cursor.
Add Mac says where to turn on Screen Sharing and which name and password a Mac needs.
The key row above the keyboard shows that it scrolls, and Paste says when there is nothing to paste.

iCloud sync for saved Macs and steadier reconnection.

Sync saved Macs between iPhone and iPad with iCloud. Saved passwords sync with iCloud Keychain.
Add a Mac with only its address, or leave the user name or password blank and enter it each time you connect.
Keep reconnecting through brief network changes, recover a frozen screen automatically and see why a session is waiting.
Enter the user name and password again when the Mac refuses a sign-in.
Open Settings in a sheet, see the Macs list animate as it changes and find Add Mac and Settings in the iPad menu bar.
